Accounting Supervisor:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Supervisor to join their team!
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join their dynamic corporate finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate entities consolidation and foreign exchange. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor the consolidation process for corporate entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Demonstrate proficiency in handling foreign currency translations, staying updated on international accounting standards.

• Oversee the review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

• Conduct regular reviews of bank accounts to verify transactions and maintain proper controls.

• Manage the accounting for stock-based compensation plans, including the accurate recording of equity transactions and related disclosures.

• Generate and distribute comprehensive monthly internal financial reports for management review.

• Assist in the preparation of documentation and financial data for SEC filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Act as the main point of contact for the external audit firm during annual audits and quarterly reviews.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment in financial reporting and compliance matters.

• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

• Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Implement best practices and stay abreast of changes in accounting standards.

• Supervise, train, and mentor team members to ensure a high level of competency within the corporate accounting team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 7 years progressive accounting experience in the public and private sector is required (preferably within the chemical or refinery industries).

• CPA or MBA is highly desirable.

• Proven experience in corporate accounting, with a focus on consolidation and foreign exchange is required.

• Proficiency in accounting software SAP and SAP BPC is required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.

• Supervisory experience is preferred.
