Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Community Liaison to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in connecting our organization with the community, promoting our services, and fostering positive relationships.

Responsibilities:

- Educate the community about our organization's mission, services, and initiatives
- Manage social media platforms to engage with the community and promote events
- Market programs and services to increase community involvement
- Collaborate with social workers, public health professionals, and addiction counselors to address community needs
- Conduct public speaking engagements to raise awareness and support for our organization
- Supervise and coordinate community outreach activities
- Assist in administrative tasks related to community engagement efforts
- Contribute to program development based on community feedback

Experience:

- Previous experience in social work, public health, or related fields is preferred
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Knowledge of program development and implementation
- Ability to engage with diverse communities effectively
- Experience in social media management is a plus
- Familiarity with addiction counseling principles is advantageous
