Job Title: Computer User Support Specialist Senior (HBSS SME)

Location: Robins Air Force Base

Clearance: Candidate must have or be able to obtain Secret Clearance

Inalab Consulting is recruiting Computer User Support Specialist - Senior to provide base wide network and client computer support for their Information Technology Desktop Management Services contact at Robins Air Force Base (RAFB) 78th Air Base Wing Communications Directorate (78th ABW/SC).

Responsibilities

Primary duties of the Host Based Security System subject matter expert:

• Provide base-wide support for Host Based Security System (HBSS) (McAfee) on all laptops, workstations, tablets, and servers.
• Assist with instructions for all McAfee users with issues on external drives.
• Assist with the transition from McAfee to windows Defender
• Report on Out-dated Products Reports, Rogue List, Subnet Coverage List, and any other required reports to Higher Headquarters (Trellix)
• Gather and compile data for Operations Order Report to determine HBSS compliance score.
• Provide exceptional customer service to subordinates, associates, and customers alike.
• Handle conflict management in a professional and tactful manner resolving situations.
• Support the Wing Cyber Security Office during Negligent Discharge of Classified Information (NDCI) incidents.
• Adhere to and enforce INFOSEC and IT security techniques through the use of Air Force and DoD policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Cyber Security Office (WCO) to ensure all IT hardware and software meet information systems security requirements as defined by regulation and policy in AFI 17-130, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.
• Support Program manager in other duties as assigned in support of the contract.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Ability to learn new software as it is added to the network and work with Government through 3rd party manufactures on software issues if needed
• Familiarity with Trellix
• Ability to effectively communicate problem resolutions to customers
• Provide excellent customer service, being helpful and courteous
• Strong communication skills

Educational and / or Experience level:

The following are the minimum qualifications:

• Familiarity with HBSS and McAfee product
• Associate degree, Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Previous experience leading a team (preferred)
• CompTIA Security Certification
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender preferred
