Psychotherapist Job Description

Looking for a licensed therapist or Resident in Counseling to serve the needs of our private pay/OON clients. Must have experience and desire to work with children and teens. In View Counseling Services, LLC is searching for a skilled LPC or LCSW to join the team as a W2 employee. We are looking for someone who wants to grow as a clinician as well as help the company reach more clients. We are not just looking to hire therapists to take on the overflow from the waitlist. The goal here is to essentially help other therapists move towards opening their own practice, while also growing our business. Not interested in opening your own practice? There will be opportunities for continued education, case consultation, and potential to increase your percentage splits every year. In this role you will have the flexibility to determine your own schedule. Hourly pay is based on number of clients in caseload, and is negotiable. Must be comfortable working with children and teens. Experience working with LGBTQIA community is a plus. Flexible options of the job include but not limited to:

- work in provided office 1 day/evening (Thursdays) to see clients in person. Access to play therapy media and tools. Work remotely for sessions on other days.

- supervision hours to become a Registered Play Therapist, or LPC (if interested)

In this role, you will be responsible for treating patients who have been struggling with mental, behavioral, and emotional health problems. This starts with identifying the exact nature of the patient’s issues. Then, you will create personalized strategies that help the individual work towards their desired mental healthcare outcomes.

To do well in this role, you will need to have a strong background in counseling and mental health. You should have a master’s degree and a current license. Additionally, it’s essential that you have the interpersonal skills necessary to engender the patients' trust that allows you to address and resolve their most intimate mental health concerns.
Licensed Professional Counselor Responsibilities:

• Meet with patients to determine the exact nature of their mental health concerns
• Provide targeting counseling designed to help the individual overcome their problems
• Remain knowledgeable of the latest methodologies in counseling to provide patients with the best possible care
• Refer patients to other mental healthcare providers as necessary
• Remain warm and engaged through the duration of every patient’s counseling session

Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker Requirements: Master’s degree in counseling or a related field All state-mandated licenses required for practice

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to get clients to open up to you
• Ability to deliver treatment that is customized to meet the unique needs of every patient
• Willingness to refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $63,360.00 - $115,000.00 per year
