Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Saint Joseph Medical Group has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible* Infectious Disease physician to join a growing practice located in Mishawaka, Indiana. This community-based practice is located in a Medical Office Building adjacent to hospital. The providers manage complicated diseases with compassion and clinical expertise and specialize in the treatment of HIV/AIDS and are also known for expertise in fungal infections, bone and joint infections and a range of unusual and complicated infections. The goal of the practice is to assure patients have a positive, healthy experience. This is an exciting opportunity for the right Infectious Disease physician to be part of a growing practice. Saint Joseph Medical Group (SJMG) is the employed arm of Saint Joseph Health System (SJHS). The Network includes over 20 practice sites with over 100 primary care and specialist physicians in St. Joseph, Marshall, and Elkhart Counties. JOB DUTIES · Basic laboratory services are available and basic procedures may be performed. · Opportunities for teaching exist with St. Joseph Health System Family Medicine residents [clinical teaching and/or supervision]. · Must adhere to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. · Required to maintain active membership status on the medical staff of SJHS-SB and/or SJHS-Ply, with full and unrestricted privileges. · *Board Certification required within 5 years of Residency Program Completion.
