Description
Summary
Responsible for basic fixturing, tool set-up, machining, in-process inspection, and final completion of moderately tolerance details ( /- 0.010). Work with machining personnel, field machinists, engineers, and supervisors to plan and execute the most cost-effective method for producing quality parts.

Experience & Skills
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production schedules, purchase orders, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as basic math, layout functions, fractions, decimals, angles, percentages and ratios.

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. These include: forklift traffic, overhead cranes, machining, welding, fumes, airborne particles, moving of mechanical parts and moderate noise. The work is performed indoors in a shop environment or a customer site both indoors and outdoors. Will spend a minimal amount of time outdoors in hot, cold, or otherwise inclement weather during part of the workweek.
