Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. There is a $500.00 Sign- on Bonus for anyone that can start immediately. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in a residential facility. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the elderly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Ensure resident safety and adhere to all resident rights
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies as directed
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Skills:
- Strong understanding of working with individuals with the elderly
- Knowledge of nursing home systems and procedures
- Proficient in providing patient care and assistance
- Ability to effectively manage behaviors and implement behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
