Job Details Job Location Huntsville - Huntsville, AL Description Electrical Engineer - Huntsville Annual Salary - $95,000 - $185,000 Generous PTO, 401K, Health Insurance Package In-Depth Engineering Corporation seeks Electrical Engineers to support our rapidly growing engineering work for the Missile Defense Agency's Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) element of the Ballistic Defense System (BMD). We have openings for mid-level to senior individual contributors. Due to the nature of the role, this is not being offered as a teleworking or hybrid position. The work is performed at our customer site in Huntsville, Alabama. Job Duties:
Support senior Electrical Engineers and leaders with responsibilities that include supporting the development and defense of impact assessments, vetting design solutions through program boards/reviews, participating in proof-of-concept activities, and adhering to program procedures.
Active participation in team scrum meetings and internal/external demos and documenting progress on team dashboards
Prepares and presents electrical engineering materials for Requirements and Design Reviews
Applies electrical engineering principles to adapt or improve previous successful designs
Perform qualification testing, characterization testing, troubleshooting, and test data review of completed designs
Perform data analysis to identify trends that may indicate out of tolerance or degraded part performance and testing to characterize off-nominal behavior of components
Qualifications Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
5 years of related professional experience
Professional experience with the design, test, and/or integration and deployment of electrical components, electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), or subsystems
Understanding and application of company electrical engineering technical standards; demonstrated electrical component design experience and impact assessment / DAR development exposure.
Technical expertise and working knowledge of other related disciplines
Must be able to meet GWS Firewall requirements
Must have a current active DoD security clearance
Preferred Job Qualifications:
LabVIEW programming, DOORS, CAMEO exposure
Experience using analytical software tools (i.e., MATLAB and/or Python) to analyze and reduce data to identify key characteristics and trends
