The Assembly Operator is responsible for keeping the assembly process running as well as ensuring the quality of our product.
Responsibilities
Assembling products
Equipping assembly line with parts
Inspecting and refilling material
Inspecting and packing finished parts
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and tools
Quality inspection
Production reporting
Following International Automotive Task Force quality standards – IATF 16949
Team Work – working in a Team to fulfill daily production goals
Escalation of issues to supervisor and manager
Following Internal Quality Issues procedure – IQI
Ensuring First in – First out
Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed
Housekeeping – 5S-Standard
Other duties assigned
Education requirements
Work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, 1-2 years preferred
Skills requirements
Good reading comprehension of work instructions
Good ability to work in a team environment
Detail oriented
Basic mechanical background
Basic troubleshooting skills
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills
Good manual dexterity
Physical requirements
Lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.
Pushing and pulling up to 30 lbs. using material handling equipment
Constant standing, reaching outward, handling and using fingers
Frequent reaching above shoulders, walking and bending
Occasional climbing, squatting and kneeling
