Job Description:

Improvix Technologies, Inc is seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics Manual Tester with a Secret Clearance to support the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) within the U.S. Department of State. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing methodologies, particularly within the Microsoft Dynamics suite of applications. This role will involve ensuring the quality and reliability of our Microsoft Dynamics implementations, contributing to the enhancement of mission-critical systems used in law enforcement and international narcotics control efforts.

Responsibilities:

§ Conduct manual testing of Microsoft Dynamics applications to ensure adherence to requirements, functionality, and performance standards.

§ Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.

§ Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and any deviations from expected behavior.

§ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify and address software issues.

§ Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to the refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria.

§ Perform regression testing to validate fixes and enhancements made to Microsoft Dynamics applications.

§ Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and ensure that testing efforts align with user needs and expectations.

§ Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues encountered during testing activities.

§ Provide timely status updates on testing progress and escalate critical issues as necessary.

§ Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing methodologies and Microsoft Dynamics technology.

Requirements:

§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

§ Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing of Microsoft Dynamics applications.

§ Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.

§ Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

§ Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

§ Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Microsoft Azure DevOps.

§ Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

§ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

§ Knowledge of SQL queries and database testing is a plus.

§ Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is desirable but not required.

§ Previous experience working in government or law enforcement IT projects is advantageous.
