Position Information

Status: Full-Time

Days: Mon - Fri

Time: 3 pm - 11:30 pm

POSITION DEFINITION

The Area Supervisor’s main role is to create a collaborative and positive work environment for our cleaning specialists. As a decentralized business, we believe our Supervisors are the ambassadors of our culture, responsible for spreading our beliefs throughout our job sites and touching many people’s lives. The second main role of the Area Supervisor is to guarantee that our service is being performed according to our customer’s expectations and our own standards. 

A typical workday starts in the office to meet your colleagues, connect with your team members, and resolve other administrative tasks and continues with the Area Supervisor visiting job sites within their area, to meet and greet the team members and supervise the service. For that reason, driving is essential. The Area Supervisor reports to the Area Manager, a leader responsible for guiding and supporting the Operational Team.

Essential skills to be a successful Area Supervisor are good communication and listening, teamwork, and genuinely caring for people.

As a company, we are always looking for means of supporting the Area Supervisor’s work. The Area Supervisor has a continuous training program, constant assistance of leadership at all times, and support of Assistant Supervisors while performing their duties.

ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

• Cultivate a meaningful relationship with all team members, based on our core values of respecting, listening, developing, appreciating, celebrating, and caring.

• Supervise several facilities and lead personnel.

• Perform regular inspections of the premises to ensure that the scope of work has been achieved.

• Create work schedules for custodians and assign duties.

• Cover for absent cleaners or open positions by performing routine cleaning tasks if necessary.

• Control of daily labor hours for each building to make sure it does not exceed the budget established.

• Understand the scope of work and ensures the scope of work and cleaning expectations are being met by training each subordinate.

• Ensure compliance with the company's policies and operational guidelines.

• Other duties as required.

Bilingual (English and Spanish).

• Driving is required for this position.
