Overview

The Production Manager assumes the responsibility of the accurate and efficient operation of the production workshop, implements production tasks according to the Company’s business objectives, and completes assessment of the workshop’s annual targets.

Responsibilities

• Implement production tasks and complete production management goals.
• Promote the construction of workshop production capacity through scientific management and lean production projects.
• Implement various technical projects and continuously explore the space for improving the production capacity of the workshop line.
• Supervise production to control materials according to BOM material loss.
• Establish department structure, position setting, personnel recruitment, performance management, training management, etc.
• Implement the department’s safety management plan.
• Complete any other tasks as assigned by management.

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or other related field required.
• Fluency in English required. Bi-lingual in Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in production management, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
• Knowledge of cost control, performance management, and lean production experience.

Work Environment

The work environment for the position includes enclosed offices and workshop production floor.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of the position include walking, standing, reaching, and sitting, on a regular basis; ability to speak and hear; ability to visually detect product color and shading variation; lifting objects from one level to another; entering text or data via keyboard into a computer; seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hands; ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or sounds.
