Job Summary:

Paint Technician monitors and maintains control of coating processes to achieve Ironform and customer product requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

· Evaluate, improve, and document methods required to wash, pretreat, and coat parts to meet customer specifications, manufacturer quality and facility system requirements

· Perform analytical testing including chemical titrations, paint chemistries, coating firm builds, and panel testing

· Monitor and maintain accurate documentation of methods and technical data in accordance with engineering and quality system requirements

· Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications (Required)

• At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)

• High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)

• Previous Manufacturing experience, with Paint Line preference

• Previous paint experience

Physical Requirements of the Job:

· Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day

· Able to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per day

· Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment

· Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands

· Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs

· Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)

· Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials

· Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time

· Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
