POSITION LOCATED IN PARSONS, KS

Position Description:

This position is responsible for installing electronic control panels and related mechanical or electrical equipment in industrial silos and commercial tanks. This candidate will use various hand tools to mount and install equipment, connect electrical wiring and cables using electricians’ hand tools, inspect work for defects, and ensure parts are installed to specifications. Also natural motivation, positive attitude/aptitude and an outstanding attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

This position requires knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance, measuring, and the ability to read and understand blueprints.

Safely operate various installation equipment such as drills, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.

Inspect work for defects and ensure equipment is installed/mounted to specifications.

Maintain and repair all tools and installation equipment and perform daily housekeeping.

Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing gloves, protective eyewear, and safety shoes.

Monitor installation tools for appropriate usage and temperature.

Perform all other duties assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Ability to interpret drawings, read and understand blueprints.

Must be able to read gauges, tape measure and other measurement tools.

Previous machinery installer/mounter experience desirable.

Previous manufacturing experience.

Outstanding attention to detail.

Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

The capability of understanding technical plans and drawings.

Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Maintain accurate work and good levels of concentration.

Ability to work in a team environment and/or on an individual basis.

Flexible and capable of successfully performing in a fast-paced environment.
