The Horsham Center for Jewish Life of North Wales, PA is looking to build a Resident Concierge team! Horsham Center is searching for compassionate Resident Concierges, experienced in customer service, to support our team!

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 10am-6pm; Monday-Friday and alternating weekends

Job Overview:

The Resident Concierge is often the initial contact and first impression that many residents, patients, and families will receive at the Horsham Center. The Resident Concierge is responsible for greeting new residents, patients, and their family members upon admission, and following up with them throughout their stay. The Resident Concierge is a hospitality professional who attends to the needs of patients/residents and helps them organize their accommodations while staying at the skilled nursing facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains positive ongoing relationships with residents/patients and families.
  • Welcomes patients and families by greeting them in person or on the telephone and answering questions.
  • Optimizes patient, resident, and family satisfaction by greeting them upon admission, following up with them throughout their stay, and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Comforts patients and residents by anticipating their needs and answering questions.
  • Assists patients and residents by helping them navigate healthcare services.
  • Assists with transportation to/from dining rooms and activities to ensure smooth
  • Assists with menu distribution and collection.
  • Assists residents with menu completion.
  • Notifies Dietician of any changes in resident preferences.
  • Communicates with appropriate staff regarding resident/patient needs/concerns in a timely fashion to ensure prompt follow-up is provided.
  • Adheres to professional practice standards, facility policies & procedures, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Provides excellent customer service and attention to detail.
  • Multitasks and prioritizes as necessary to meet resident needs.
  • Represents the company with integrity and dedication.
  • Maintains high ethical standards and professionalism.
  • Assists other employees with residents and visitors to ensure highest quality of care is provided.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, supports team to reach common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of residents and patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills; including the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining a pleasant and calm demeanor with customers, patients and caregivers.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Basic computer operating skills.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proven customer service experience and skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in the senior living industry is preferred.
