Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager. The Assistant Branch Manager will support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career.
Duties:
· Greet customers that come to pick up orders or obtain quotes.
· Create quotes for customers that call, email or come into the office.
· Schedule upcoming pickups and deliveries.
· Enter gate and roll production into QuickBooks and update all stock spreadsheets.
· Oversee the Warehouse Manager to support them in their role.
o Morning meeting everyday (walk through) to discuss where we are with orders, the cleanliness of the yard and the movement of product in and out of the warehouse.
o Discuss any employee issues such as unexcused absences or tardiness issues.
o Discuss any errors made and find a resolution for future instances.
· Check weights on daily deliveries and ensure items will fit on delivery truck.
· Create packing slips and ensure delivery appointments are confirmed.
Experience:
- Previous experience in quickbooks Preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in administrative tasks, such as scheduling and record-keeping
