We are seeking Quality Inspectors for our 2nd shift operations in Kentwood, MI. If you have experience performing visual inspections, and a strong manufacturing background, then you are asked to apply to this position.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Operating a machine and performing visual inspection of metal painted parts looking for cracks, overspray etc.
• Observing all safety procedures.
• Communicating issues related to product or equipment with supervisors, maintenance, and quality control.
• Determining if parts can be salvageable or scrapped.
• Keeping area clean and organized.

Knowledge and skill requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior quality experience required.
• Experience performing visual inspections required.
• Having experience using micrometers and calipers, reading blueprints, and the ability to read an SPC chart is a plus.
• Attention to detail.
