Imperial Dining Services is seeking a talented, experienced Cafe Manager at a client facility.

The Café Manager will play an integral role in overseeing of all daily retail and catering operations, including the execution of menus that capture modern trends with a focus on health and wellness and "clean" food preparation, inventory management, ordering, cash handling, employee hiring, training, record keeping, and food production.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Responsible for inventory management and procurement of food and supplies at an account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company
• Manages food production through kitchen staff in a small but detailed facility
• Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through cost containment and safety
• Utilize Imperial resources, recipes, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, inventory, product deliveries, invoices, cash handling and procurement operations
• Ensures employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned
• Establish and maintain a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Imperial Dining Services standards
• Comply with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.e. labor, inventory, equipment, materials) and making adjustments when necessary
• Supervise employees by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards

• Ability to ensure that Imperial Dining Services and customer goals are aligned and met
• Ability to educate and develop rapport with internal/external customers and promote partnerships
• Maintain and promote a customer/client centered culture that strives to exceed customer and client needs
• Coordination skills to manage all catering production initiatives to drive sales growth and track results
• 2 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
