Eat. Sleep. Track Data. Repeat: As a Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing data reports, calculating billbacks, validating financial processes and general accounting duties. This involves handling confidential information and compiling and analyzing data. This position requires a strong understanding of financial information, and will work from our Kalamazoo Headquarters Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.

A Day in the Life

• Prepare weekly data reports for multiple departments
• Calculate billbacks
• Prepare tax reports
• Validate End of Day process and Month End Close tasks
• Financial Statement and General Ledger trend analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent education and experience) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required
• One or more years' experience in Accounting/Finance preferred
• 18 years of age or older
• Strong financial acumen including an understanding of financial information
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills and numeric ability
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly and efficiently while remaining calm and professional
• A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively
• Sense of urgency and attention to detail while working within deadlines
• Must possess superior communication and customer service skills, confidentiality and professionalism
• Self-starter with a high productivity level
