Imperative Care is Hiring a R&D Project Management Intern Near Campbell, CA

Job Title: R&D Project Management Intern Location:This position is based in our Campbell, California offices, on-site & full-time. Imperative Care does not provide relocation or additional housing compensation for the summer internship.Why Imperative Care?Do you want to make a real impact on patients? Our focus is on the needs of the patient, and they come first in everything we do.What You’ll Do The Project Management Intern will assist the R&D Project Management team(s) with activities in support of creating the foundational building blocks of project portfolio management process (specifically, resource management process) within Imperative Care. Potential duties and responsibilities include the following, depending on the need of the organization. Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis:
  1. Develop/build an easy-to-use resource management tool for cross-functional groups using off-the- shelf tools, such as Excel/Smart Sheet for short & intermediate term solution.
  2. Research on resource/portfolio management platforms software tools and present on the research, provide recommendations for long term solution.
  3. Help create and establish a business process framework to be applied for cross-functional resource management update process.
  4. Help pilot resource management update process within Stroke business.
What You’ll BringThe items listed below are considered desirable or preferred attributes, which may be waived if the individual is able to demonstrate that they can perform the key functions of the position.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science or Engineering
  • Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business, Science or Engineering. MBA student preferred.
  • Expected Master’s Degree graduation in 2023 or 2024
  • Strong creative and analytical thinker who is intellectually curious
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently using good judgment and initiative
  • Team player who can incorporate input from others
  • Ability to speak up when important information or questions must be raised
  • Sound decision making capabilities
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for a variety of audiences
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Finance and business background preferred.
