Role Description:This role will partner with EY to establish SOX controls and compliance as the business lead byperforming the following -1. Establish relationships and regular communication with Management’s SOX Process and ControlOwners.2. Document and update as needed management’s SOX documentation: Narratives, Flowcharts,Risk Control Matrices, Owners, etc.3. Coordinate the scheduling of Process/control walkthroughs with Management, IA and ExternalAuditors.4. Provide recommendations on the design/operation of controls.5. Facilitate provision of control support documentation to IA and External Audit.6. Coordinate with Finance and IA to calculate Materiality thresholds and perform Risk Assessment to determine SOX scope.7. Conduct SOX training for Management as needed.8. Regularly meet with and debrief Management, Internal Audit, and External Auditors andcommunicate agreed on controls metrics. Will be responsible for developing a dashboard orother type of standard reporting to report key metrics.9. Establish quarterly SOX 302 Certification process.10. Partner with IT Controls and Compliance team to ensure completeness/effectiveness off all SOXcontrols.Requirements:11. Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required12. 5 years public accounting and direct SOX controls experience13. Ability to assess risk and provide recommendations for control/process design14. Familiarity document process is narrative and/or flowchart purposes15. Ability to coordinate and lead implementation plans16. Ability to communicate with all levels of individuals across the organization (verbal and written)17. Project management skills18. CPA or CIA certification preferred19. Experience with Audit Board software a plus20. Potential to convert to perm.
