Impact Solutions is Hiring a Site Leader Near Sheboygan, WI

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the total manufacturing operations of the WI site which consists of 30 personnel, and an annual operating budget of $6mm. Leads and directs all activities associated with the chemical production effort including environmental, safety and health assurance, recruiting/training/development of operation personnel, directing the production workforce, maintaining inventories of raw materials and finished goods, and optimization of process efficiencies. Implements Company policy, safety, environmental and quality programs, and labor relations policy. Coordinates efforts between production areas and other business functions and represents manufacturing. Effectively leads the site and its people in alignment with overall business goals. Champions site Productivity projects that drive cost and variability reduction.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Environmental, Health & Safety:

ØEnsures site compliance with all safety, health and environmental laws, codes, and standards, including the company Safety Manual, reporting upward required by policy.

ØProvides leadership to the site and its personnel to drive continuous EHS improvement; high visibility on the unit's floors driving improvements and accountability.

Human Resource Management:

ØModels company core values always.

ØHires, trains, develops, and promotes associate in support of long-term business goals, and the personal career goals of the associates.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

ØB.S. Degree Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.

Ø8 years’ experience in supervision. Strong preference for someone leading/managing a manufacturing site.

ØCritical Skills: technical writing, math, and statistics, analytical, problem solving, maintenance and production optimization, project management skill.

ØMust have demonstrated leadership experience and team building skills.

ØAbility to lead and influence teams, groups, and individuals.

ØAbility to work with & motivate peers and within teams.

ØSignificant experience with EHS to include working knowledge and practice of OSHA, EPA, PSM, Incuity, SAP, SAP Maintenance Modules, and Mechanical Integrity.

ØMaintenance and production optimization experience.

ØUnderstanding and active usage of company management systems to ensure site compliance.

ØExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written required.

ØDemonstrated ability to drive associate alignment, engagement, and accountability.

ØExperience in ISO-9000 preferred but not required.
