The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

• Staying apprised of current and future information technology spending requirements
• Analyzing, managing, negotiating and renewing contracts
• Analyzing purchasing process improvement opportunities
• Providing input and making recommendations
• Leading teams make up of employees from different functional areas
• Creating and executing purchasing action plans
• Monitoring information technology spending

• Four or more years of information technology purchasing experience for a large information technology department
• A related four year degree or an additional six years of experience
• One or more years of employee management experience
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes
