Research Computer Scientist - Transportation Systems

Objectives of this Role:

• Work as a software developer within a team responsible for delivering innovative solutions that improve traffic coordination, big data processing and analysis, computer vision, machine learning, and intelligent decision support systems
• Design and develop complex products and solutions that directly impact the actions and lives of the travelling public

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project manager and other team members to execute assigned tasks
• Participate in all development lifecycle stages, including requirements definition, software/systems design, implementation, testing, integration, and system support.
• Ensure high code quality by writing unit tests, participating in code reviews, and debugging software modules.
• Implement code using various concepts, including user interface design patterns, object-oriented design, refactoring, test automation, continuous integration/deployment, networking, concurrency, modeling, and database design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with relevant industry experience.
• 3-10 years of experience with object-oriented development in languages such as C#, C , or Java.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in additional technologies, such as SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, AWS, React, Angular, GIS, among
