Position Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Therapeutic Radiologic Technology and possess AART (T) certification. In this role, you will provide treatment programs for patients referred to Radiation Oncology, coordinate scheduling, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.

Job Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited Therapeutic Radiologic Technology program resulting in an Associate or Bachelor's degree, or Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program resulting in an Associate Degree and a Certificate in Radiation Therapy.
• AART (T) certification required on hire.
• AZ Medical Radiology License required on hire (Original license must be presented at facility to begin employment).
• Radiation Therapy Technologist Certificate.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification, 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide treatment programs for patients referred to Radiation Oncology.
• Coordinate scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and address any concerns they may have.
• Assist supervisor with quality assurance for Accelerators, Simulators, and related equipment.
• Perform simulations, block fabrication, and preparation of charts and computer for treatment.
• Observe radiation safety measures and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Write and review patients' progress reports, including charting, and report to referring physicians.

Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift.
