Our Award Winning Client, a national leader in aerospace solutions, seeks a skilled Quality Lab Manager for their Mojave, CA location. Join an esteemed team dedicated to excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Sealants Quality Lab ensuring rigorous compliance with quality control systems
• Conduct comprehensive testing of products to align with customer specifications and industry standards
• Manage a dynamic team of chemists and technicians in the sealants and analytical labs
• Investigate and address quality complaints, implementing corrective actions for process improvements
• Establish quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards of product quality and reliability
• Collaborate in building an organization-wide, prevention-oriented quality program
• Define quality requirements based on current customer specifications and accreditations
• Work with lab and manufacturing personnel to adjust production batches and resolve quality issues
• Promote personal and departmental responsibility for quality, contributing to quality awareness and skills training programs
• Contribute to the establishment and monitoring of quality improvement projects, overseeing multifunctional project teams

Qualifications:

• Five (5) years of Quality related experience in manufacturing or research with a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of sealant products, their use in the field, and manufacturing processes
• Five (5) years of management experience preferred
• Familiarity with aerospace coatings or sealants manufacturing preferred
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
