Opto-Mechanical Technical Trainer
Base Salary $75-115K Annual Incentive Opportunity Full Benefits.
Relocation benefits will be provided within the United States
TS/SCI Clearance Required Prior to start
Essential Functions:
Engineer with at least eight years of experience in opto-mechanical assemblies with the ability to train on the technology. These tasks may include developing instructional materials and/or web-based publications, as well as supporting training courses and demonstrations.
Job Description:
Facilitates training events and assists instructor as needed. Assists training developer with course development. Builds, aligns, and qualifies precision opto-mechanical assemblies and systems. Disassemble and re-assembles subassemblies and systems down to piece-part level. Inspects optical components for damage. Maintains equipment and ensures calibration needs are met.
Partner with engineering teams, relevant team members, and customer representatives to define the priorities for curriculum/courseware development and to coordinate completion with product release dates. Develop/deliver training presentations and lesson plans from engineering documentation and field service requirements. Create course materials that ensure participants have a solid understanding of the systems, and the skills needed to operate or maintain their systems in their day-to-day responsibilities. Must be able to deliver course materials in a formal classroom setting.
