Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory analysis and quality control testing in accordance with established protocols. Duties include conducting procedures within the assigned laboratory section, maintaining equipment calibration and cleanliness, and ensuring accurate entry of orders and results into laboratory information systems. Additionally, the Medical Technologist will provide direct patient care and promptly report any abnormal findings to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree Required

Required Skills:

• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• One year of concentrated work experience in a clinical Lab or Laboratory Specialty
• Registry from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent registry
• WV State Laboratory Technologist licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to hire
