Our client seeks a production supervisor at their central Illinois facility to supervise manufacturing activities in one of several production departments. In this role, you will also ensure that the department meets production targets while manufacturing products to engineering specifications.

Position Overview

• Responsible for directing and managing production teams
• Ensure that team members meet quality, safety, and production requirements
• Create a weekly staffing plan and follow-up on lean manufacturing initiatives
• Update training schedules and see that work areas are organized using 5S

Candidate Requirements

• A high school diploma is required
• Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Ability to read blueprints
