This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week in office expected.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Account for Lease Agreements: Analyze and interpret lease agreements to determine proper accounting treatment and ensure compliance with ASC 842 and other relevant standards.
• Maintain Lease Data Integrity: Accurately record lease data in the accounting system, ensuring all entries are precise and verifiable.
• Calculate Lease Financials: Generate lease payments, amortization schedules, and other financial information with accuracy and efficiency.
• Support Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of lease-related financial reports, including balance sheet and income statement analysis.
• Foster Collaboration & Transparency: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate and timely lease accounting information.
• Implement New Standards & Policies: Assist with the adoption of new lease accounting standards and policies, ensuring smooth integration and compliance.
• Stay Updated & Compliant: Maintain a deep understanding of evolving lease accounting standards and regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Provide Financial Expertise: Offer financial analysis and insights on lease-related matters to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure Audit Readiness: Assist with preparing financial statements, audit schedules, and other reporting requirements for accurate audits.
• Manage & Secure Lease Process: Oversee and maintain the lease process, ensuring adherence to SOX requirements and robust internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting 
• CPA is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting standards related to leases (e.g., ASC 842).
• Detail-oriented and accurate in all work.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
