What you will be doing
• Work with senior-level Engineers and Project Managers on the preparation of Construction Documents including drawings (plans, sections, elevations, and details) and specifications
• Data compilation and evaluation, field work, and technical report writing related to specific structural projects
• Perform structural analysis and design with an emphasis on wood framed structures.
• Provide engineering support during construction
• Perform structural drawing production in Revit What we are looking for
• 2 years of similar structural engineering work experience. Experience in wood framed buildings – especially in multifamily housing construction.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective organizational skills to design projects simultaneously, completing the work in accordance with client’s requirements/guidelines and schedules
• Proficiency in plan reviews and preparing or reviewing technical specifications, construction documents, and estimates and ensuring compliance to codes
• Effective organizational skills
• A problem solver who is thorough and attentive to details
• A proactive and deadline oriented individual
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
