Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our dynamic team in Orange County. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of HVAC estimating experience in large-scale commercial projects, with project sizes ranging from $5 million to $50 million in labor and materials. They will have a background in various sectors including hospitals, labs, data centers, and more.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC systems on large-scale commercial projects.
2. Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other related documents to ensure accurate estimates.
3. Utilize Trimble AutoBid software to create and manage estimates.
4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather information and resolve issues.
5. Maintain updated knowledge on market prices for materials and labor.
6. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary data for estimates.
7. Develop and present estimate reports to project stakeholders.
8. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, schedules, and budgets.
9. Ensure all estimates meet company standards, client requirements, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as an HVAC estimator in the commercial sector.
2. Proven experience with large projects ($5 million to $50 million in labor and materials).
3. Proficient in the use of Trimble AutoBid.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and labor costs.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Must be based in Orange County, CA.
8. Stable work history demonstrating reliability and dedication.
