Job Title: Hematologist/Oncologist

Location: Dothan, Alabama

Salary: This role offers a competitive salary based on Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) guidelines. In addition, this job offers a comprehensive financial package that may include medical education debt assistance, residency/fellowship stipend (if applicable), relocation expenses, CME, vacation, health, dental, and vision benefits, licensure, dues, and subscriptions.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team of 3 physicians and 7 APP's currently at the practice. Our practice has been in business for over 30 years and there are upcoming plans for office space expansion.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide excellent patient care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of hematologic and oncologic disorders
Evaluate and treat patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers
Utilize evidence based medicine
Document patient assessments, treatments, and plans in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the practice of hematology/oncology
Commitment to providing patient-centered care
Excellent communication, clinical and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and support a positive team environment
Current Alabama Medical License

Experience and Skills:

Experience in Hematology/Oncology
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in use of electronic medical records
Ability to work independently and with a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
