TITLE: Director Respiratory Services

What they are looking for:

•Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy and a Master's degree is preferred.

•NBRC Certified Respiratory Technician and NBRC Registered Therapist. Licensed by Ohio Respiratory Care Board.

•Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.

•Five(5) years experience in respiratory care functions with Three(3) years of recent management experience in clinical respiratory care services field.

Hours and compensation potential:

•Position is full time primarily day shift.

•Range is between $85K-$130K depending on experience and a full benefit package.

What you will be doing:

•Provides 24 hour leadership and accountability for the clinical practice and operational functions for the area(s) of responsibility.

•Ensures the quality of direct and indirect patient care by collaborating intra/interdepartmentally with staff, colleagues, administration, physicians, and others.

•Effectively manages material, fiscal and human resources.

•Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory/accrediting body requirements; and professional practice standards. Participates in strategic and service growth planning and implementation

•Develops and supervises the Unit Coordinator and direct and indirect clinical care staff.

•Conducts and documents regular staff meetings and communicates information to staff in a timely manner.

•Collaborates, communicates, and maintains effective relationships with staff, physicians, other healthcare providers and organizational colleagues, and the community.

•Prepares, monitors, and responds to variances in the operating and capital budgets.

•The position is located northeast of Columbus, OH.

•The position reports to the COO whom is well respected.

•Person is over 2 Unit Coordinators(1 Respiratory and 1 Sleep Lab), 16 FT Therapist, 4 PT Therapists, 5 PRN Therapists, 1 EEG/EMG Tech, 3 FT Polysomnographers, 1 PRN Polysomnographers
