- The work involves responsibility for managing and
directing the operations of the social work department for the Center of Nursing and Rehabilitation. - The incumbent is also expected to handle a caseload appropriate for a Master’s level social worker.
- Supervision is exercised over subordinate personnel.
- The work is performed under the general
supervision of the Director of Long Term Care with considerable leeway for independent judgment and the
exercise of discretion. - A Director of Social Work Services does related work as assigned.
- Training/Education: Possession of a Master’s
degree in social work. Possession of a Bachelor’s
degree in social work. - Experience: One year of paid, full-time
experience working as a clinical social worker. Three years of paid, fulltime experience working as a clinical social worker. - Part-time service will be given prorated credit toward experience requirements.
