Impact Solutions is Hiring a Director Marketing Rare Diseases Near South San Francisco, CA

The Director, Global Marketing will have the opportunity to shape KOL, HCP and allied health engagement efforts across this high profile program, develop the global brand strategy, build a compelling brand and drive launch execution for this potential life-extending therapy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, working in white-space and innovation. Looking for a dynamic Leader with Launch experience in the Hematology and/or Rare disease space within Biotech/Pharmaceutical.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive KOL engagement execution, including awareness, advisory board and congress activity.
  • Lead development of pre-launch KOL, HCP and allied health awareness and engagement strategy.
  • Help shape global brand strategy and go-to-market launch readiness plan.
  • Lead development of Global HCP campaign, core messaging, and communications strategy.
  • The role will also hold responsibility to drive consistency of brand messaging across channels and lead market assessments to drive executional action plans supporting high value opportunities.
  • Develop HCP tactical plan incorporating key insights from HCP market research and patient journey and lead global tactical execution.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to forecast, track and communicate financial performance inclusive of operating budget.
  • Development, maintenance and tracking of key brand milestones.
  • Lead brand KPI development and alignment across brand and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure achievement of near and long-term forecast expectations.
  • Deliver routine KPI reporting through collaboration with data partners that will drive performance discussions and leadership reporting.
  • Lead development of brand presentations including executive updates, and key customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with XF partners: Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Access, Corporate Communications, Business Insights and US/Regional
  • Manage internal legal, regulatory, and medical review of promotional tools to enable responsible and compliant communications.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred BS/BA degree required with 7 years. 6 years of experience required with an MBA/equivalent and 4 years of experience required with a PhD/PharmD.
  • Experience in biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry, especially in rare disease and/or hematology/oncology strongly preferred.
  • Experience in commercial product launch and launch preparation strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the US market strongly preferred; familiarity with EU, Japan and China a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a nimble, fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Willingness to both work remotely and to travel as required for business.
