Building Automation Controls Technician

The BAS/Controls Technician is responsible for installing, programming, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, calibrating, operating, maintaining, start-up and commissioning, repairing HVAC/building automation control systems, and related software and hardware equipment.

Responsibilities Include:

Software Programming and Controls Set-up
Writing and developing graphics programs for new and retro-fit projects
Start-up and check-up on projects (in-field)
Coordinate with other trades during commissioning (in-field)
Follow-ups and documentation with Project Manager and trades
Learn all software programs utilized in day-to-day operations
Adequate knowledge of programs such as Tridium, Distech, Siemens, Johnson Controls with integration to 3rd party systems
Strong understanding of HVAC Mechanical Systems
