One of Atlanta’s premier CPA firms is seeking a highly motivated Client Accounting Services (CAS) Experienced Associate. The CAS Experienced Associate is responsible for supporting multiple clients with a full range of services, including, but not limited to, the following procedures. 

Accounts Payable function for multiple clients:

• Receive incoming vendor invoices and route to approver using electronic routing and tracking
• Research and resolve AP-related issues, as needed
• Code and key approved vendor invoices into accounting software in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy
• Reconcile multi-transactional vendor invoices (Amex, FedEx, etc.)
• Produce invoice selection registers for approval
• Set up new vendor files including ACH particulars, as necessary
• Prepare required reporting at month-end close including reconciliation of detail AP report to general ledger balance
•  Support general accounting functions as needed; strong knowledge of Excel required

• Processing of client invoices to customers
• Posting customer payments
• Downloading/entry of revenues from 3^rd party applications or banks
• Preparation of sales & use tax reports for review by Manager
• Prepare required reporting at month-end close including reconciliation of detail AR report to general ledger balance

Other Areas of Responsibility

• Payroll integration and reconciliation
• Bank account reconciliations
• General ledger reconciliations and journal entry postings
• Inventory and fixed assets
• Trained and become expert in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage Intacct and Bill.com, among other apps.

• Knowledge of and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statements
• Assist in the client onboarding process
• Produce annual 1099s
• Prepare Annual Business Personal property tax returns
• Proper recording of sales tax payable and handle monthly/quarterly fillings
• Provide assistance to CAS Manager for month-end close process for multiple clients
• Other projects and functions, as requested

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience with an accounting background
• Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or closely related field.
• Organized, with strong time management skills
• Intermediate level PC skills with focus on Excel (including pivot and VLOOKUP)
• Intermediate level experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
• Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Record of good judgment and ability to know when to escalate issues
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a remote environment
