Associate Designer for Boy's Character Licensed Apparel

An established Wholesale Manufacturer of children's apparel in NYC is looking to fill an Associate Design position for Boy's Character Licensed Apparel. This person will create designs for boys apparel ages 2-16, contributing to all stages of the design process, from concept creation to final production.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and trend-setting designs, ensuring they align with our brand's vision and aesthetic.
• Contribute fresh ideas based on market research.
• Support sales/merchandising with preparing market presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Previous experience designing for boys apparel 2-16
• Experience with Character Licenses product (Disney, Marvel, DC, WB, etc.) is preferred. 
• Strong portfolio showing your design skills.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and a keen eye for color, pattern, and detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Experience in art manipulation and creation.
