Description

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is responsible for assisting the nurse manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the cath lab. In collaboration with the nurse manager, assumes 24/7 responsibility for the management and staffing of the unit. The ANM manages and coordinates the unit, directs and supervises functions and activities, interprets policies/procedures/protocols, standards, and regulations as appropriate. The scope of responsibility spans all aspects of nursing care. The ANM maintains clinical competence and certifications to assist the unit when required.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree BSN
• Coursework/Training ACLS
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Specialty Certification within one year of hire
• Within 1 year of hire Specialty certification
• 3 years Recent clinical experience in an outpatient cancer clinic setting.
• Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Shared Governance experience.
