Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. As a part of a Service Center Revenue Cycle team, you will be assigned to insurance accounts and responsible for: timely and clean claim submission, timely follow up on reimbursement, and troubleshooting everything in between. Your role will contribute to the financial success of our organization by ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes, which in turn fuels our mission!

Schedule:

This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday with availability until 6pm. You’ll be based out of our Lehi, Utah office. A hybrid office schedule is utilized after the training period, with remote work from home being based on performance.

Duties:
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for patients
- Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, making corrections and appealing when necessary

- Post insurance payments correctly, interpreting and processing explanation of benefits

- Coordinate with remote team members at each agency to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with the billing team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims

-Perform other specific projects relating to collections, billing, data entry, and computer operations as required

Requirements:
- Experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- Able to quickly adapt to new processes and technology
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and billing software
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
- Ability and motivation to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
