Preventive Maintenance Technician

Impact CNC is currently hiring an entry-level preventative maintenance technician with a desire to learn maintenance and repair procedures and techniques. The position is Monday – Friday from 7AM – 3:30 PM and weekends as needed.

Job Duties:

· Perform preventative maintenance on coolant tanks/machines

· Perform preventative measures for safeguarding machinery against degradation

· Record maintenance work

· Paint and repair buildings as needed/ taking care of essential items needed to run the building such as propane, oils, and coolant.

· Operate forklifts, hand lifts, and hoist equipment

· Operate hand tools, electrical saws, drills, grinders, hydraulic, or pneumatic power tools safely to follow IOSHA guidelines

Qualifications & Essential Physical Requirements:

· Excellent teamwork, safety knowledge, and facilities and industrial maintenance skills

· Ability to thoroughly communicate with vendors and employees

· Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment

· Physical health that enables employee to lift, move, pull, or push up to 50 pounds

· Attention to detail

· Requires standing and repetitive movement as well as walking and using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, and controls

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus

Wage: Starting at $19.00 per hour
