Impact Church, one of the fastest growing churches in Arizona is seeking a full time youth pastor who will be responsible for pastoring, caring, and developing spiritual formation to youth, grades 6-12 in our church, community, and city.

We expect the candidate to have a growing, personal relationship with Christ, and a big heart for young people. This individual should possess good communication skills, an ability to think outside of the box, be able to work as both a team player and leader, develop leaders, and have efficient organizational skills.

Youth Pastor Purpose: To serve as primary pastor to the youth, grades 6-12, of Impact Church; to plan and participate in services, activities, and events that reflect the core values and vision of Impact Church; in collaboration with the Next Gen Team empower a team of volunteer leaders to minister to youth and families of Impact and the greater Scottsdale community; serve along side the Next Gen Team’s vision to reach ages 0-30.

Responsibilities:

- Create and maintain an exciting, engaging environment for teenagers to encounter God through fun, friends, and discipleship

- Lead weekly Sunday morning services for grades 6-8

- Lead weekly Sunday night services for grades 6-12

- Build a strong volunteer team to develop and deploy into the ministry

- Provide pastoral leadership for, and participate in, youth group

- Participate in weekly young adult services and events

- Collaborate with Next Gen Pastor/Lead Pastor in cultivating a similar culture with the young people integrated into the main services

- Plan and execute annual Impact Youth Camp along side Next Gen Team

- Facilitate weekly youth bible study in partnership with church midweek bible studies

- Participate in community gatherings, school campuses, and create personal image within community

- Engage parents in the spiritual formation of the youth

- Participate in all church wide activities including services, events, conferences, gatherings, etc.

- Submit to the vision of the Lead Pastor and the direction of Impact Church

Preferred Experience:

- Youth ministry of 100

- Experience preaching/teaching

- Campus ministry

- Leadership development

- Seminary/Bible School education a plus
