Responsibilities :

• Design and construct high-precision tooling and molds for medical device manufacturing processes.
• Conduct detailed analysis and testing of molds to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to identify and solve complex tooling challenges.
• Implement maintenance schedules for molds and tooling to ensure maximum longevity and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies in mold making and apply best practices to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Tool & Die Mold Maker in the medical industry or related field.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and CAD / CAM software for design and manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, mold design principles, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings to meet tight deadlines.

Preferences :

• Certification in tool and die technology or related field.
• Experience with plastic injection molding processes.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and production staff.
• A continuous improvement mindset and the willingness to adapt to evolving industry standards.
