Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Infant Guide to join our team. As a Montessori Infant Guide, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for infants in our Montessori classroom. Your role will involve implementing the Montessori philosophy and curriculum, fostering independence, and supporting the overall development of each child. Responsibilities: - Create a safe and engaging environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of infants - Implement the Montessori philosophy and curriculum, including providing age-appropriate materials and activities - Observe and assess each child's progress and provide individualized guidance and support - Foster independence by encouraging self-care skills, such as feeding, dressing, and toileting - Plan and facilitate daily routines, including meals, naptime, playtime, and outdoor activities - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment - Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and provide updates on their child's progress - Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent conferences as required Requirements: - Previous experience in childcare or babysitting is preferred - Familiarity with Montessori principles and practices is highly desirable - A passion for working with infants and promoting their development - Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet nurturing environment - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues - First aid certification is required (or willingness to obtain) - A degree or certification in early childhood education or special education is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
