JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW :

The Chart Swap Department is responsible for processing attorney requests, (LOA’s), for billing records, affidavits, subpoenas, and balance verifications.

The department will contact the attorney or legal assistant by comment in Chart Swap if additional information is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Review all requests for HIPAA compliance prior to processing.
• Check in the IDX system to verify patient.
• Process subpoenas and shipment pending daily; other requests will be processed by date received / requested.
• Perform all other duties and assignments as requested.
