Clinical (RN) Supervisor

We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to:

  • Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in providing everything from preventive health care to highly specialized programs.
  • Provide quality care in a compassionate patient- and family- centered environment.
  • Supervise clinical and clerical support staff in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Assist in overseeing unit budget and operations ensuring quality patient care and cost effectiveness.
  • Assist Operational Manager in the implementation of clinic strategic goals.
  • Assist Operational Manager with employee performance issues and conducts performance evaluations in conjunction with Operations Manager.
  • Provide clinical care as needed.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives.

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

Experience/Skills:

  • Two years healthcare supervisory experience preferred.
    • Requirements may vary based on clinic specialty.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, training and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff within the organization and community.
  • Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois.
  • Bi-annual CPR required.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
