In this vital role, you will provide personalized monitoring to residents who require additional support and supervision. Job Duties

• Monitor a given resident as a One-on-One
• Required to sit for a long period of time while observing a resident.
• Alerting the Nurse on duties on residents that are being monitor of any changes in behavior, attitude, etc.
• Hall monitoring Behavioral units.
• Observing the halls in a behavioral unit giving instructions to residents who leave their rooms to remain in their rooms.
• Alerting a staff member when residents do not follow instructions to stay in their room.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Must have persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have personality or temperament for proper interaction with elderly clients.
• Must have the ability to work independently—with minimal supervision—yet be able to be a contributing team member.

Employment Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Industry experience is preferred; Health Care, Customer Service.
• An equivalent combination of experience, education, and other qualifications may be considered.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Hands on CPR/AED and First Aide certification for Healthcare professionals.
• Current 2-step TB test (available on-site)
• AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply)

Shift Available

This is a Non-Exempt FLSA status position.

Full-Time

Sunday - Thursday 6AM - 2PM

Sunday - Thursday 2PM - 10PM

Tuesday - Saturday 2PM - 10PM
