Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks, medical administrative support, and working in a dental or medical office environment. Proficiency in phone systems and knowledge of medical terminology are also required.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary documentation
- Assist with medical records management, including filing, organizing, and maintaining patient records
- Utilize Akamai PM and/or Epic software to update patient information and schedule appointments
- Provide administrative support to the medical team as needed
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental office procedures
- Experience with administrative tasks in a dental or medical office setting
- Familiarity with Akamai PM or Epic software is preferred
