Job responsibilities

  • Respond to customer field service requests for service, determine root cause (s), troubleshoot, and take corrective and preventive action.
  • Perform installation, preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and provide technical guidance to medical staff and biomedical engineers on proper usage of the system.
  • Perform all aspects of technical work required to support all products and technical services to customers.
  • Collaborate with client success/sales team to implement service level agreements
  • Create and maintain accurate and timely service reports that give visibility to quality, timeliness and efficiency of the service performed.
  • Comply with iMed Biomedical’s service and quality policies.
  • Ability to work extended hours (need based) to support internal/external customer needs.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.

General Guidelines: Fully experienced with an exceptional skill set or knowledge, works with minimal supervision; capable of serving as a trainer, mentor to junior and mid-level staff. Capable of performing in a lead capacity.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors or Certificate in biomedical electronics or a similar discipline, at least 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Strong time management, technical, organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in time demands and priorities.
  • Familiar with sterilization devices.
  • Open to work in healthcare facilities alongside medical staff.
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Biomedical Equipment Technician Training
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel 50% of the time.
  • Establish and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions and the sales organization.
  • Communicate leads to management and sales staff. Be a positive ambassador for iMed

  • Physical working requirements include: o Routine movement such as walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling and grasping. o Performing work from floor level to above shoulder height.
